After nearly seven years, “Meet the Penis” has hit the big 1-0-0!!
That’s 100 episodes of our popular YouTube series on male sexual health, penile anatomy and the latest in penis enlargement, implants and penis care. (Never seen MTP? Check it out Meet the Penis on YouTube now!)
What started as a quirky idea in a Coral Gables operating room has become a cornerstone in sexual medicine patient education—with humor, heart, and a whole lot of honesty. From serious science to surgical secrets (and the occasional political anecdote), Episode 100 isn’t just a milestone—it’s a love letter to every episode that came before it.
Created in collaboration by Dr. Alfredo Suarez-Sarmiento, Jr. and Travis Taylor and hosted by the legendary Dr. Paul Perito, “Meet the Penis” (MTP) has become the most unfiltered, informative, and downright entertaining video series in the world of men’s health. And Episode 100 is no different, it’s a nostalgic clip show packed with classic moments, powerful reflections, and genuine gratitude.
“We’ve amassed 99 pieces for your review regarding penile implants, erectile dysfunction, hormones, male genital cosmetics, politics, hyperbole—and even sometimes comedy,” Dr. Perito says in the latest episode. “Most importantly, we’ve done over 10,000 implants. We’ve educated a patient population through their own questions and served their needs ethically and with precision.”
That kind of transparency is what’s made MTP a hit—not just with patients, but with urologists, fellows, sex therapists, and skeptics alike.
From the beginning, the mission was clear: answer real questions from real men with empathy and expertise. Or, as Dr. Perito says, “None of us come up with any important questions that need to be answered for our patients. You, the viewers, do that. So thank you.”
For Dr. Alfie Suarez-Sarmiento, Jr., the creator and executive producer of MTP, this milestone carries emotional weight.
“This show started as a conversation. Just me and Dr. Perito in the OR, thinking of better ways to answer the most common questions patients asked us,” says Dr. Suarez-Sarmiento. “Now we’ve got patients around the world watching episodes as part of their research prior to surgery. Over the years, patients keep coming up with better questions, that in turn make us better providers. And that’s something we’re both really proud of.”
Episode 100 includes some unforgettable throwbacks:
- Dr. Perito teaching patients how to pump their implant while casually naming his daughters on-air.
- Early roundtable discussions where the term “penile aesthetics” was still met with a raised eyebrow.
- And of course, the now-famous quote:
“An implant does not make your dick shorter!”
If you’re new to MTP, start with the classics: Episode 1 sets the tone, but Episode 26 (“Pump It Like Perito”) and Episode 72 (“The Penis and Politics”) are fan favorites.
And if you’re a longtime fan, this one’s for you.
“We’re all brothers—white, Black, brown, poor, rich, gay, straight, Democrat, Republican,” Perito says in the finale. “But most importantly… gentlemen.”
To every viewer who ever clicked play, left a comment, or showed an episode to a confused friend—thank you. Here’s to the next 100.
