Dr. Perito and the team from Perito Urology traveled to Nashville, TN, to partake in this year’s 20th Annual fall Scientific Meeting of the SMSNA. This year Dr. Suarez-Sarmiento, Jr. gave 3 of his presentations in front of several of the top implanters in the field. Perito Urology along with collaborations from Mayo Clinic Rochester successfully presented their work on “Penile Prosthesis Glans Hypermobility Scale (GHS): Incidence, Severity, and Predictors in a Multi-Institutional Series.”
Dr. Suarez-Sarmiento also gave presentations about one of our greatest patient subpopulations we serve: diabetics. The last presentation was a financial comparison of the Outpatient vs Inpatient surgical setting. Scientific presentations allow for fellow physicians and those who work in the healthcare industry to further educate them of emerging trends and technologies that improve patient safety. Perito Urology would like to thank the SMSNA committee for putting on such a fun and informative event this year, Nashville was a hit!
