Dr. Perito attended the annual meeting of the American Urological Association in New Orleans, LA last month, consisting of:

• Sexual Medicine Society Meeting Sat May 16, 2015
• Coloplast – Meet the Experts Event Sat Evening May 16, 2015 at the House of Blues
• Presented at the Coloplast Booth Sun May 17, 2015 on “The Perito Implant” and newly approved Ectopic Reservoir Placement or High sub-muscular Placement  of the Reservoir

Dr. Perito said of the event:

“The recently granted FDA approval of “ectopic” reservoir placement has made it possible for prosthetic surgeons to never again suffer from a major bowel bladder or vascular event during reservoir placement.  I would summarize that this was the most pertinent topic at the 2015 AUA for penile implants.”
